Primary Clinical Applications

Specialized scope for extreme angle viewing in pediatric cases. Used for assessment of the frontal recess and sphenoid regions in older children when necessary. Also valuable in adults with severe stenosis where other scopes cannot reach.

Clinical Advantages

Allows visualization of highly angled structures in the smallest patients. Provides access to regions that would otherwise require external approaches in pediatric cases.

Ideal Procedures

Advanced pediatric sinus procedures involving the frontal or sphenoid sinuses; thorough evaluation of difficult-to-reach areas in children; examination of severely restricted passages in adults.

Special Considerations

One of the most challenging scopes to use effectively, combining the difficulties of a very small diameter with extreme angle viewing. Requires significant experience and excellent illumination. Used relatively infrequently but invaluable when needed.
