Primary Clinical Applications

Provides angled views of the middle ear during endoscopic ear surgery. Essential for visualizing areas hidden from direct view, such as the epitympanum, posterior tympanic recesses, and areas behind the ossicles. Also often preferred by some rhinologists for endoscopic examination and in-office debridements.

Clinical Advantages

Allows visualization of regions impossible to see with a straight scope, including the facial recess, sinus tympani, and anterior epitympanic space. Critical for complete cholesteatoma removal.

Endoscopic ear surgery; cholesteatoma removal; ossicular chain reconstruction; examination of retraction pockets; comprehensive middle ear assessment.

Special Considerations

Requires mental adjustment for the angled view in confined space. The 130mm length provides adequate working distance while maintaining maneuverability. Very popular with rhinologists
