Primary Clinical Applications

Used in endoscopic ear surgery to visualize deeper recesses of the middle ear. Provides more extreme angle than 30° for examining areas like the sinus tympani and facial recess thoroughly.

Clinical Advantages

Allows visualization of regions difficult to see even with a 30° scope, particularly the posterior portions of the sinus tympani and deep epitympanic space. Helps ensure complete disease removal in cholesteatoma cases.

Ideal Procedures

Advanced endoscopic ear surgery; cholesteatoma removal; thorough middle ear exploration; examination of difficult attic retractions; revision ear surgery.

Special Considerations

More challenging to orient than 30° scopes in the confined ear canal space. The 130mm length is adequate for ear work while maintaining maneuverability.
