Primary Clinical Applications

Identical optical properties to P417N30, but with ergonomic advantages during sinus surgery, particularly in the frontal recess. The reverse post configuration keeps the light cable away from the surgical field and operating hands.

Clinical Advantages

Significantly improves surgical ergonomics by redirecting the light cable away from the instrument working corridor. Particularly valuable when working in tight spaces like the frontal recess where cable positioning can obstruct instrument movement.

Ideal Procedures

Frontal sinus surgery; procedures requiring intense instrumentation alongside the endoscope; cases where cable positioning would otherwise interfere with surgical approach.

Special Considerations

Some surgeons use reverse post configurations specifically for one side of the nose (e.g., right-handed surgeons may prefer reverse post for left-sided procedures). Requires adaptation for surgeons accustomed to standard post orientation.
