Primary Clinical Applications

Same as P417N45 but with improved ergonomics. The reverse light post orientation is particularly valuable when operating in the frontal recess, where cable positioning is critical for instrument movement. It has become indispensable for rhinologists (UPenn & MEE trained) approaching the frontal sinus often replacing the regular 30° to 70°

Clinical Advantages

Routes the light cable away from the surgical field, providing more space for instrument manipulation. Reduces the risk of the cable obstructing the surgeon's view or interfering with instrument handling during angled work.

Ideal Procedures

Frontal sinus surgery; procedures requiring angled viewing with simultaneous instrument manipulation; cases where standard cable position would create congestion in the working space.

Special Considerations

Most beneficial for surgeons who already use 45° as their preferred intermediate angle scope. Some surgeons will have both standard and reverse post configurations available, selecting based on the specific approach or nasal side.
