Primary Clinical Applications

Specialized scope for examining the anterior commissure, subglottis, and trachea in pediatric patients. The 90° angle provides a different perspective than the standard 70° view.

Clinical Advantages

The steeper angle allows better visualization of the anterior commissure and subglottic region in children. The 6mm diameter is appropriate for pediatric airways.

Detailed examination of the anterior commissure in pediatric patients; assessment of subglottic stenosis; evaluation of tracheal pathology; specialized diagnostic challenges.

Special Considerations

Used less frequently than 70° scopes but valuable for specific diagnostic questions. The 90° perspective can reveal pathology that might be missed with standard angles.
