Primary Clinical Applications

Designed for pediatric laryngeal examination in the operating room. The 6mm diameter allows visualization of the pediatric airway while the 70° angle provides the standard view of the larynx from above.

Clinical Advantages

Allows thorough examination of the pediatric vocal cords, arytenoids, and laryngeal structures under anesthesia. The smaller diameter is suitable for children's airways while maintaining adequate image quality.

Ideal Procedures

Direct laryngoscopy in children; assessment of pediatric vocal cord mobility; evaluation of subglottic stenosis; visualization during pediatric airway procedures.

Special Considerations

Provides less illumination than larger diameter scopes but is necessary for adequate fit in pediatric airways. The 70° angle is standard for laryngeal visualization from a transoropharyngeal approach.
